TCU Frog Alley

Jeff and I bundled up the kids and took them to Fort Worth for a day of fun. We started by lunching at Purple Cow. The girls both had a great lunch and "G" slept through it all. We then ventured to TCU and played in Frog Alley. They had so much fun.....bounce houses, face painting, more bounce houses with slides and bounce obstacle courses! Avery got a crazy spider balloon hat and Lillie wanted a balloon doggie. The pictures tell it all! The only down side is that you have to park quite a ways away from the stadium but I guess that there is nothing wrong with a little walk! It was quite brisk outside but the jacket came off after the first 1/2 mile walking with the stroller up hills to get to the stadium. It was so far that I did not mind that I got stuck behind a cute older couple that were walking VERY slow. It gave me a chance to rest! We all agreed that we would try to go to every home game next year and let them play.
UPDATE: It is now two weeks later and the crazy balloon hat is STILL full of air and currently residing in my kitchen.
Bundled up and ready for Fort Worth!!

Hmm.....should we get the Mac & Cheese or the Cheeseburger?

Lunching at Purple Cow in our favorite corner booth!

Bouncing down the bounce house slide with her sister in tow

Loved getting her face painted

Dangerously close to her nap time!!

Check out the crazy spider balloon hat.....that was fun walking through a crowd!!(as a side note, it was VERY cold but she insisted on having her coat unzipped so her TCU shirt would show. We got her the shirt for college shirt day at school!
