Avery brought home a red star and was told to write the names of anyone who served in the military on it. They were going to post them on the Veterans Wall at school. Avery took hers with Harry Grafton Ford, Jr. "Big Pop" and Gordon Welsh on hers. They were both in the US Army. Thanks for all that you did for our country! Here she is proudly displaying her star before taking it to school.
