Go Stars!

Avery and I went to a Stars game with my parents and had such a great time. I love hockey and now so does Avery. We both wore our jerseys and it was a great game. My favorite comment was Avery said, "why are they on the ground?" To which I replied, "they are stretching"! I love the way her mind works.

Avery in the box during warm upI have to say though, the highlight for me though was meeting my very first celebrity. I was in line getting Avery nachos (which she had asked me for for about an hour and I finally gave in......then she did not really like them...I digress!) and I saw this guy walk in and he looked familiar. I kept glancing at him knowing that I knew him from one of my favorite shows. He was with 4 very pretty blonde girls so being the casual Mom I was that night, I almost did not say anything but I could not let the opportunity pass me by. On our way out, here is our conversation:

Me: "Excuse me, are you on the TV show Leverage"

Christian: "Yes I am"

Me: "I love that show! You are so great in it! Nice to meet you!"

Christian: "Thank you. Christian, what is your name"

Me: "Leah, nice to meet you; you are great in the show"

Christian: "Thank you!"

He was SO nice. It was a fun and not stalker like celeb experience. I really would have like my picture with him (and I had my camera) but I wanted to play it cool and he seemed really low key. I might have to photoshop myself into one of these and exist on that!
